We leave from your hotel at 8.00am for a scenic country drive towards Lambir National Park, which houses the largest Dipterocatp forest in Asia. Trek into the park over the suspension bridge, which brings us to the Latak Waterfalls where you can have a short rest and swim (if you wish).

We continue from there to Niah town and stop for a local lunch in the town before proceeding to visit the Prehistoric Niah Caves, famed for its role as one of the birth places of civilization in Asia. The oldest human remains were found in Niah, which makes the park one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.

The tour of the cave will take you through the Great and Painted Caves as well as allowing you to witness the age-old remnants of bird's nest harvesting equipment inside the cave.

We will return to Miri and arrive back at your hotel late evening.
